At Industria Chiquibul we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our People and workers. As stated in our Sustainability and Human Rights Policy, we give constant training, equipment and support to our collaborators to guarantee their equipment correct use and safety inside our operations. We are committed to have the most updated and advanced Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and protocols in both, our plant and field facilities, with professional advisors on health and safety.

During the past month, five different Occupational Health and Safety trainings were given throughout the month, certifying 110 extraction mill collaborators. The topics taught during these trainings were:

• Clothing and footwear use
• First aid kits usage and the installation of more than 40 auxiliar kits throughout facilities.
• Safety guidelines for jobs at heights and elevations

Also, machinery workshops were given to our field collaborators, focusing on equipment use and support and giving our workers professional licenses on light vehicles (type C license) and heavy machinery (type E license).
