The Visual Health Day was introduced by Industria Chiquibul and has been for the past years one of the multiple incentives that seek after the free healthcare access to collaborators and surrounding communities of Alta Verapaz and Peten. With the visit of ophthalmologists with all the necessary visual equipment, these campaigns are held inside Industria Chiquibul’s facilities, where collaborators are invited to get free exams and given the necessary recommendations and treatment according to the diagnosis.
Industria Chiquibul closed the last semester of 2022 with two different Visual Health Day: one held during the first week of October, and the second one during the first Week of December. Adding up both journeys, around 700 collaborators have attended during this time to get examined. 115 collaborators resulted in need of lenses prescriptions, that are then financed by Industria Chiquibul in the commitment to guarantee health security.

Industria Chiquibul cierra su ultimo semestre del 2022 con dos Jornadas Visuales en las cuales mas de 700 colaboradores asistieron para obtener su evaluación gratuita por parte de oftalmólogos proporcionados por la empresa. De estos 115 fueron diagnosticados y recetados con lentes que han sido financiados y distribuidos. Esta iniciativa ya ha sido parte de los programas sociales de Industria Chiquibul para llevar a sus colaboradores y comunidades de los recursos médicos y velar por su salud.
