{"id":7371,"date":"2025-10-01T12:04:24","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T18:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/industriachiquibul.com\/?p=7371"},"modified":"2025-10-01T12:04:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T18:04:25","slug":"advancing-sustainable-palm-oil-practices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/industriachiquibul.com\/en\/advancing-sustainable-palm-oil-practices\/","title":{"rendered":"Advancing Sustainable Palm Oil Practices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At Industria Chiquibul, we continue working towards transforming the palm oil sector into a driver of sustainable development for Guatemala and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of our commitment, we recently participated in two key international forums:<br>The 21st International Palm Oil Conference, held in Cartagena, Colombia; and The Palm Oil Collaboration Group (POCG) meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During these events, we actively contributed to the implementation of the Report Framework, which centers on three essential sustainable pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No deforestation<br>Full traceability<br>Respect for human rights<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the POCG is globally led by Malaysia and Indonesia, Latin America is increasingly taking a prominent role in shaping mechanisms that promote sustainable practices across the palm oil sustainable chain value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our participation enabled us to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exchange insights with international experts, clients, and strategic partners<br>Strengthen our capabilities in key areas for continuous improvement<br>Reaffirm our commitment to global standards in sustainability, transparency, and social responsibility<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With renewed energy and circular economy, Industria Chiquibul remains dedicated to developing and implementing sustainable policies aligned with international standards and best practices.
